The Root of the Crisis
Key Challenges
Policy Gaps
Inconsistent regulations and lack of enforcement.
Technological Shortcomings
Limited implementation of modern solutions.
Public Awareness
Insufficient community engagement and education.

WE DIDN'T NOTICE THE BOIL.
BUT NOW, WE NEED TO LEAP.

The boiling frog effect is a metaphor for how slow, unnoticed crises can become catastrophic if we don't act in time. Water scarcity is one such crisis—let's not wait until it's too late.
OUR COUNTRY
- 600 million at water stress risk
- 70% of water contaminated
- 80% of fresh water goes in agriculture & inefficiently
OUR WORLD
- 1 in 4 people globally lack access to safely managed drinking water
- Day Zero events in major cities
- Global freshwater use has increased sixfold but supply is shrinking

WHY NIRI
Three pillars of
water intelligence
Efficient
Five effective conservation modes that adapt to context. Versatile across usage points — taps, canteens, labs, and more. One device, institution-wide impact.
Engaging
Flexible modes combined with IoT gamification turn water conservation into a habit, not a chore. Data dashboards make behaviour change visible and rewarding.
Emergent
Patent granted. Third-party certified. Automatic leakage control with institutional-grade reliability. Validated by IIT Delhi, IIT Madras, and Government of India.
